Recharge Limit per Currency Increased from 2 Million Won to 3 Million Won
Hana Card announced on the 17th that it will expand the linked accounts for its foreign exchange-based overseas travel service ‘Travelog’ to all banks and increase the limits for each currency.
Starting from the 18th, Hana Card will expand the accounts that can be linked to Travelog to all banks. The service will continue to offer 41 types of currency free exchange (100% preferential exchange rate) and free fees for overseas usage and overseas ATM withdrawals. Previously, only subscribers of Hana Financial Group affiliates such as Hana Bank, Hana Securities, and Hana Savings Bank could use Travelog.
From the same day, the recharge limit for ‘Hana Money,’ a foreign currency prepaid electronic payment method, will be increased from 2 million KRW to 3 million KRW. The limit increase became possible after being designated as an innovative financial service by the Financial Services Commission on the 3rd.
Lee Seok, Head of Hana Card’s Digital Global Group, said, “The expansion of linked accounts for Travelog and the increase in currency-specific limits are Hana Financial Group’s response to numerous user demands,” adding, “Going forward, Travelog will continue to lead the market as an innovative service that dramatically improves the convenience of overseas travel.”
