Samsung SDS announced on the 17th that it held a 'Gen AI Day' seminar for public institutions preparing to adopt generative artificial intelligence (AI) and transition to the cloud.

The seminar held the previous day was organized to introduce Samsung SDS's cloud-based generative AI technology trends and actual adoption cases, as well as to share related know-how. About 200 officials from metropolitan area local governments and administrative agencies attended.

At Gen AI Day, Samsung SDS introduced public sector hyper-automation innovation strategies utilizing ▲ the generative AI service platform FabriX ▲ Brity Copilot, which applies generative AI to work collaboration solutions such as mail, meetings, and messenger ▲ and the AI-based big data analysis platform Brightics AI. In particular, live demos of FabriX and Brity Copilot, which Samsung SDS employees use, were provided.

Samsung SDS explained that for using generative AI in the public sector, understanding public administration terminology and the reliability of responses are important, and that FabriX has great strengths in the public sector by facilitating easy training and deployment of language models while minimizing hallucination phenomena.

Additionally, under the theme of 'Samsung Cloud Platform (SCP) for Digital Platform Government,' effective public cloud transition strategies and successful cases of cloud adoption by public institutions were also shared.
