3 Stores Opened in 8 Months Since First Branch Last August
"K-Chicken = Kyochon Chicken Officially Recognized... Raising Awareness"
Kyochon Chicken, operated by Kyochon F&B, opened its 4th store in Taiwan on the 16th. After opening the first store last August through a master franchise agreement with Kingja International of Taiwan's Lacapa International Group, Kyochon successfully made a smooth landing in the local market by opening the 4th store just 8 months after entering Taiwan.
The 4th Kyochon Chicken store in Taiwan was established on the 2nd basement floor food court of the Mitsukoshi Department Store in West Central District, Tainan, with an exclusive area of 78㎡. Tainan Mitsukoshi Department Store is a famous department store ranked number one in sales in the Tainan area, boasting one of the top ten highest sales figures across Taiwan. It is located in a 'commercial hub' with significant foot traffic, surrounded by major tourist attractions and complex commercial areas such as National Tainan University, Blueprint Cultural Park, Shui Ping Yuan Park, and hotels.
A Kyochon F&B official said, “We are pleased to secure another prime commercial district in Taiwan following the core business district in New Taipei City (1st store), Taipei 101 (2nd store), and Taipei Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store (3rd store). As a leading premium K-chicken brand, we will firmly imprint the best taste filled with Kyochon Chicken’s sincerity and dedication on local Taiwanese customers and further expand our business nationwide.”
At the 4th store, Kyochon plans to offer its signature chicken menus such as Kyochon, Red, and Honey, along with various set menus.
As of April, Kyochon operates over 70 overseas stores in 7 countries including Taiwan, the United States, China, Malaysia, and Indonesia. A Kyochon F&B official stated regarding the global business strategy, “We plan to focus on solidifying our presence in countries we have already entered and raising the brand’s global awareness and preference.”
