Applications Accepted Until April 29, Scholarships and Support for 200 University Students
KT&G Scholarship Foundation announced on the 17th that it is recruiting '2024 University Sangsang Scholars' to support college students facing financial difficulties.
The University Sangsang Scholars program targets students from basic livelihood security recipients and lower-income brackets enrolled in domestic universities, and applications can be submitted through the KT&G Scholarship Foundation website until the 29th.
Two hundred selected scholars will receive a scholarship of 3 million KRW each and have the opportunity to participate in an online Sangsang Scholarship Camp offering various cultural experience and learning activities. Additionally, they can access the electronic library on the KT&G Scholarship Foundation website, which contains approximately 1,100 books.
The KT&G Scholarship Foundation will fairly review applicants' eligibility and study plans and announce the final selection results on the website and via individual contact on the 7th of next month.
An Hongpil, Secretary General of the KT&G Scholarship Foundation, stated, “We select and support 'Sangsang Scholars' every year so that talented individuals do not give up their dreams of learning despite difficult circumstances,” adding, “We will continue to spare no effort in supporting capable future generations through differentiated scholarship programs.”
