Suwon City to Promote Night Tourism This Year... 'Manseokgeo Saebit Festival' Held from 18th to 21st

The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will hold the '2024 Manseokgeo Saebit Festival' at Manseok Park in Jangan-gu until the 21st.


The Manseokgeo Saebit Festival is an event to widely promote the value of Manseokgeo, a world irrigation facility heritage, and to revitalize nighttime tourism.


In connection with the Jangan-gu 'Manseokgeo Saebom Festa,' various programs such as fireflies, walking trail landscape lighting, lake music fountain and aurora displays, fireworks, special lighting on the lake island, and smart tourism XR bus experiences will be held.


Starting with the landscape lighting, music fountain and aurora displays (twice daily) will be available from the 18th to the 21st, and special island lighting can be enjoyed on the 19th and 20th.

At 8 p.m. on the 20th, fireworks are scheduled. Along with street performances, music fountain and aurora effects will be presented, followed by the highlight of the 'Manseokgeo Saebit Festival,' the fireworks show.


Suwon City has declared this year as the year of revitalizing nighttime tourism.


Accordingly, starting with this 'Manseokgeo Saebit Festival,' the city will promote ▲ Ilwol and Yeongheung Arboretum nighttime openings (mid-May) ▲ Suwon Cultural Heritage Night Tour (May 31 to June 1) ▲ Hwaseong Haenggung Palace nighttime openings (May to October) ▲ Hwahoeng Sarangchae nighttime landscape creation (May) ▲ Seojangdae Forest Moonlight Trail creation (July) ▲ 2024 Suwon Hwaseong Media Art (September 28 to October 20), among others.
