Spring and Starlight-Themed Spectacular Landscape Lighting Exhibition
Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) will hold the '2024 Gangseo Spring Light Festa' at Banghwa Neighborhood Park starting from 3 PM on the 20th.
The 'Gangseo Spring Light Festa' is an upgraded version of Gangseo-gu's representative spring event, the 'Gaehwasan Spring Flower Festival,' showcasing the district's unique charm with beautiful lighting and abundant attractions.
This year, the festival will be held under the slogan "Gangseo's Spring! Dyed with Light." The district has prepared a variety of busking performances and experiential events throughout the venue for all generations, from children to seniors. Busking performances will continue from 3 PM to 8:30 PM on the main stage and at the food truck zone.
Simultaneous performances in two zones include the 'Magic Bubble Show' using soap bubbles, indie bands (such as Ondo and Illuwa Band), the municipal theater troupe 'Bisang's musical gala show, and magic shows.
The experiential events are divided into the 'Light Experience Zone' and the 'Memory Experience Zone.' In the 'Light Experience Zone,' visitors can enjoy light-based activities such as LED workshops and glow painting, while the 'Memory Experience Zone' offers various events like the Dalgona game and nostalgic costume experiences.
In the evening (6:40 PM), the festival will begin with the thrilling 'Fire Show' by the theater troupe 'Muun,' followed by the lighting ceremony where the landscape lights in four zones?'Light Plaza,' 'Light Walk,' 'Light Lake,' and 'Light Harmony'?will be simultaneously illuminated, along with a performance by the fusion gugak group 'Sia.'
The festival's main attraction, the landscape lighting, is themed around 'Spring' and 'Starlight,' depicting flowers, butterflies, constellations, and more. The landscape lighting can be enjoyed daily from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM until the 30th of this month.
