Jinju City to Conduct 2024 Gyeongsangnam-do Social Survey

Sample Survey of 1,000 Households from the 19th to May 18th

Jinju City in Gyeongnam Province will conduct the "2024 Gyeongsangnam-do Social Survey" for 20 days from the 19th to May 8th.

This social survey, organized by Gyeongsangnam-do, is conducted annually to understand social interests and changes in awareness related to citizens' quality of life, and to use the data as a basis for major policy decisions.

The survey targets household members aged 15 and older living in 1,000 sampled households out of all households in Jinju City. It consists of face-to-face interviews conducted by surveyors visiting the households directly, as well as online surveys.

The main survey items include 41 items across five common categories such as health, family, and households, and three Jinju-specific items such as conditions for successful innovative city construction and library usage status. The survey results are scheduled to be published on the Gyeongsangnam-do provincial government website around November.

An official from the city emphasized, "The data provided by citizens in this survey will be strictly protected under Article 33 of the Statistics Act and used only for statistical purposes," and added, "Please actively cooperate when surveyors visit your household to ensure the smooth progress of the survey."
