Located in Tay Ninh Province, Southern Vietnam
Strict Domestic Production Quality Standards Applied
Producing Everything from Ramen to Beverages
Paldo announced on the 16th that it has completed its second factory to secure supply in response to increasing local demand in Vietnam. Paldo plans to continuously expand the facilities of the second factory and utilize it as a production and export hub.
The new factory is located near Tay Ninh Province in southern Vietnam. It sits on a 33,920㎡ (12,600 pyeong) site with a total floor area of 12,506㎡ (3,783 pyeong). The second factory is capable of producing not only ramen but also beverages, which is expected to diversify Paldo's local business portfolio.
The previously completed first factory is located in Phu Tho Province in northeastern Vietnam and has a total of three ramen production lines. With the completion of the second factory, Paldo has established a production belt connecting the north and south of Vietnam. Both the first and second factories apply strict domestic production quality standards to secure sales competitiveness, enabling the production of products with the same quality as those for the domestic market.
Along with the factory completion, production capacity will also increase. Ramen products such as cooked noodles and instant noodles can be produced at 100 million units annually, and beverages at 150 million units annually. Once the planned ramen production line expansion scheduled for next year is completed, ramen production will increase to over 400 million units annually. Combining this with the existing first factory's production capacity, it will be possible to produce 700 million ramen units annually in Vietnam alone.
Exports centered on the local corporation are also expected to become more active. Paldo currently exports locally produced products in Vietnam to a total of 10 countries with strict quality standards, including the United States, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, Germany, and Singapore. Last year, Paldo opened a local office in Cambodia to support Southeast Asian export operations.
A Paldo representative said, “The second factory in Vietnam, which has domestic-level production quality, will play an important role as a foothold for Paldo’s global market expansion.”
