Expansion to 2-person support including store owners this year
Partnership with 14 base cooperative hospitals in 9 regions nationwide
Chicken franchise bhc Chicken is expanding welfare benefits for its franchisees and continuing to practice 'ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.'
The bhc Chicken headquarters announced on the 16th that it will conduct the ‘2024 Franchisee Health Checkup Support (hereinafter referred to as Franchisee Health Checkup)’ for all bhc Chicken franchise stores nationwide.
The target includes all bhc Chicken franchise stores operating normally until April 3, 2024, and the support has been expanded from one person (the franchise owner) to two people this year. In addition to the owner, support will be provided to one additional person among the spouse, direct ascendants, or direct descendants. If the owner is a co-representative, free health checkup services will be provided to the two co-representatives listed in the franchise contract.
The checkup schedule is from April 8 to November 30, and appointments can be made at designated regional hospitals nationwide. Following last year, the headquarters has negotiated with comprehensive medical examination hospitals across regions this year as well to realize franchisee health checkup support, resulting in the selection of 14 partner hospitals in 9 regions nationwide, including Jeju Island.
The examination items include basic tests such as comprehensive blood tests and body measurements, as well as various optional items depending on the hospital, such as MRI, CT, gastroscopy and colonoscopy, and ultrasound, allowing for personalized checkups. Detailed examination items can be confirmed through the designated hospitals. The cost of this health checkup will be fully covered by the headquarters.
A bhc Group official said, “The free health checkup service is not a one-time event but a small consideration for franchise owners who find it difficult to take care of their health in advance due to their busy business.” He added, “The headquarters will do its best to make the store sites healthy and enjoyable workplaces.”
