Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, and Cho Hee-yeon, Seoul Superintendent of Education, Discuss Promotion of 'Yubo Integration'

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, held a meeting with Cho Hee-yeon, Superintendent of Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, at Woori Mapo Daycare Center on the morning of the 15th to discuss the promotion of integrated early childhood education and care.

At the meeting, Mapo District proposed support for special childcare projects such as Mapo-type daycare centers, lowering the teacher-to-child ratio, expanding support for daycare centers, and improving the treatment of childcare teachers in relation to the promotion of integrated early childhood education and care, sharing mutual opinions with the Office of Education.

Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo District stated, “I hope the integrated early childhood education and care policy will be smoothly promoted so that all young children can receive high-quality education and care services without discrimination,” and added, “Mapo District will take the lead in cooperating with the Office of Education to ensure that growing children can develop in a better educational environment.”
