Enjoy a Picnic with Music on the Evening of the 19th at Yongdu Park in the Spring Breeze
A Lively Concert with Sorikkun ‘Shin Seungtae’ and Jazz Band ‘Prelude’
Dongdaemun Cultural Foundation (CEO Kim Kyung-wook) will hold the ‘Spring Breeze Seolleongseolleong Concert’ at Yongdu Park in front of the district office on the 19th.
This performance, prepared to celebrate the ‘2024 Seonnong Daeje’ held from the 19th to the 20th, will meet the audience at the outdoor stage of Yongdu Park starting at 7 PM.
The first singer to take the stage at the Seolleongseolleong Concert is Shin Seung-tae, a sorikkun (traditional Korean vocalist) formerly of ‘Lee Hee-moon’s Ssingssing Band,’ a top domestic folk rock band with outstanding skills and a bold approach, boasting a strong fan base.
Singer Shin Seung-tae has proven his capabilities by winning awards at several prestigious competitions, including the Bronze Prize at the 2005 MBC College Song Festival and the Grand Prize in the Master Division at the 13th Gwacheon National Gyeonggi Sori Singing Contest in 2019. Recently, he has appeared on numerous TV programs such as Immortal Songs and Open Concert, gaining public recognition.
‘Prelude,’ a four-member jazz band composed of Berklee College of Music graduates, will also brighten the stage with Shin Seung-tae. Prelude is one of Korea’s representative jazz bands, known for selling out their annual regular performances.
The ‘Spring Breeze Seolleongseolleong Concert,’ which will present a rich variety of music genres from traditional Korean music to trot and jazz with a modern sensibility, can be enjoyed free of charge on the day of the performance without reservation.
Dongdaemun Cultural Foundation will give a picnic mat to the first 250 audience members who promise to attend through the ‘online pre-event,’ which can be used during the concert.
To make a visit promise, search for ‘Seolleongseolleong’ on the Seoul Metropolitan Government Public Service Reservation website and apply.
