On Tuesday the 16th, the whole country is expected to be mostly cloudy, clearing up from midday.


Rain is expected to subside between dawn and morning. In the Seoul metropolitan area, rain will continue until morning; in Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong, and Jeolla regions until morning; and in the Gyeongsang region until midday.


Expected precipitation by the 16th is around 5mm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon; less than 5mm in Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, Chungbuk, Gwangju, Jeonnam, and Jeonbuk; around 1mm on the east coast of Gangwon; 5 to 20mm in Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk; and 5 to 10mm in Ulleungdo and Dokdo.


Morning low temperatures in major areas are Seoul 12°C, Incheon 10°C, Suwon 10°C, Chuncheon 12°C, Gangneung 15°C, Cheongju 13°C, Daejeon 12°C, Jeonju 12°C, Gwangju 13°C, Daegu 14°C, Busan 15°C, and Jeju 13°C.


Daytime high temperatures are Seoul 20°C, Incheon 16°C, Suwon 20°C, Chuncheon 21°C, Gangneung 24°C, Cheongju 22°C, Daejeon 22°C, Jeonju 21°C, Gwangju 22°C, Daegu 24°C, Busan 22°C, and Jeju 20°C.


Starting early dawn from Baengnyeongdo, yellow dust will affect most regions nationwide, and in areas with rain, yellow dust may mix with the rain.


Due to the yellow dust, fine dust concentrations will be 'bad' in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon, Chungcheong, Honam regions, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk, while other regions will see 'moderate' levels. Additionally, during the day, fine dust (PM10) concentrations are expected to reach 'very bad' levels temporarily nationwide.


From dawn to morning, dense fog with visibility under 200 meters will occur mainly in the Seoul metropolitan area, the western coast of Chungnam, Jeolla region, and Gyeongsang region, while other areas may experience fog with visibility under 1 kilometer.


Sea waves will be 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are predicted to be 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea.
