On the 15th, Law Firm (Limited) Daeryun announced that it successfully concluded the opening ceremony of its headquarters relocation at Park One Tower in Yeouido, Seoul, reaffirming its ambition to become a global law firm.

Daeryun occupies the 35th floor of Park One Tower 1. This headquarters relocation was decided to improve accessibility for corporate clients and to provide prompt legal advisory support.

The opening ceremony was attended by internal stakeholders including representatives Kim Guk-il, Jeong Chan-woo, Ko Byung-jun, and Park Dong-il, as well as external guests such as attorney Choi Bo-yoon, who was recently elected as a proportional representative for the People’s Future Party in the 22nd National Assembly election, the Korea Disabled Rehabilitation Association, Thomson Reuters Korea Co., Ltd., Korea POS Securities Co., Ltd., and LG Chem.

Representative Kim Guk-il stated in his opening remarks, "We have realized the goal of enhancing accessibility for our clients. Unlike many law firms located near the courts, Daeryun relocated its headquarters to Yeouido to resolve inconveniences faced by corporate clients and to improve accessibility," adding, "Individual clients can also receive professional legal services at 38 branch offices nationwide. The headquarters is only a geographical designation."

He continued, "Daeryun no longer intends to simply increase the number of lawyers. Rather, it is now important to become more specialized and to enhance accessibility for clients," emphasizing, "Daeryun, which has the largest number of branch offices nationwide, is expanding and reorganizing various specialized groups including criminal, family, corporate law, construction and real estate, defense and military law based on 38 branches including the headquarters. Based on this expertise, we are now preparing to expand overseas."

Representative Jeong Chan-woo said, "The red color symbolizing Daeryun represents client-centeredness, professionalism, and trust, embodying Daeryun’s commitment to providing the best legal services," and added, "The red lighting of Park One Tower at night resembles Daeryun’s symbolic color, making this headquarters relocation even more meaningful. Daeryun will continue to do its best to contribute further to the legal community."

Currently, Daeryun operates 38 branch offices nationwide, providing one-stop legal services through collaboration among over 200 specialized lawyers, accountants, and patent attorneys in fields such as civil, family, tax, rehabilitation and bankruptcy, defense and military, administrative, labor, and international litigation. These experts cooperate remotely, with teams ranging from 3 to 20 professionals depending on the case.

Representative Park Dong-il stated, "Daeryun prioritizes providing client-friendly legal services as a core management value," and explained, "We have opened many offices nationwide to provide legal services comparable to those in Seoul even in underserved local areas without lawyers. This was a challenge to change the legal culture and served as the foundation for Daeryun’s rapid growth."

Starting with the relocation of its headquarters to Yeouido, Daeryun plans to expand its domestic branch offices as well as enter overseas markets such as Japan and the United States.

Representative Park explained, "I believe there are no limits to the legal market or legal services. We chose overseas expansion to enhance the competitiveness of domestic law firms," adding, "While law firms generally choose Southeast Asia for profit generation, Daeryun plans to enter markets with advanced legal systems rather than focusing on profit. Daeryun’s legal services already possess sufficient capabilities to be showcased globally."

During the opening ceremony, Daeryun representatives conducted a headquarters tour with external attendees, introducing the company while visiting the information desk, client waiting room, consultation rooms, and seminar rooms.

An external attendee commented, "With the headquarters relocated to Yeouido, where large corporations and financial institutions are concentrated, there will likely be many interactions with various companies, and the presence of numerous individual spaces seems to ensure a high level of satisfaction."

The opening ceremony concluded with closing remarks by Representative Park Dong-il.
