Ulsan City Seeks Ideas for Regulatory Reform

Discovering Regulations with High Citizen Participation Awareness

Ulsan City announced on the 15th that it will hold a Regulatory Reform Idea Contest this year.

This contest was prepared to discover and improve unreasonable regulations experienced in corporate activities and daily life. The contest period is from the 15th to May 17.

The contest will be held across four categories: △ Economy and Industry △ Support for Small Business Owners and SMEs △ Employment and Jobs △ Citizen Welfare and Daily Life Inconveniences. There are no restrictions on eligibility, and submissions can be made by visiting the Legal Statistics Officer of Ulsan City, by mail, or by email. For more details, please refer to the announcement posted in the City News - Public Notices section on the Ulsan City website.

Ulsan City plans to select nine winners through judging, including one grand prize winner, two excellence award winners, and six encouragement award winners, who will receive the Mayor’s Award and prizes. The results will be posted on the Ulsan City website and individually notified in July. The winning entries will be reviewed by the relevant departments and either improved internally or proposed for improvement to central government agencies.

An official from Ulsan City said, “Through this contest, we plan to promote demand-driven regulatory reforms that citizens can feel by discovering and improving regulations closely related to corporate activities and daily life,” adding, “We ask for citizens’ great interest and participation in regulatory reform.”
