Nationwide First 'Manmulsuri OK Ban' Dispatched
Ulsan City announced on the 15th that it will expand the 'OK Living Civil Complaint On-site Service Day' throughout Ulsan starting this year to enhance citizen convenience and welfare.
The 'On-site Service Day' is a service pioneered by Ulsan City nationwide, which addresses daily inconvenience complaints such as electrical appliance repairs that are difficult to resolve at home by visiting nearby parks or multi-family apartment complexes near residential areas.
Last November, the city conducted a pilot operation of the 'OK Living Civil Complaint On-site Service Day' at Jung-gu Ulsan Sports Complex, Buk-gu Office Plaza, and Daldong Cultural Park.
This year, the service will be operated on a rotating basis by district, county, and town from April to November. Although each district and county operates a mobile unit that visits homes to resolve civil complaints, it is limited to repairs of electricity, lighting, water supply, and plumbing.
In contrast, the 'On-site Service Day' expands the scope of services to include small electrical appliance repairs, bicycle and toy repairs, and gathers various inconveniences in one place to reduce citizens' efforts.
The service is also expanded to various fields such as daily life counseling, experiential events, health management, and life safety, and provides customized services linked with administrative welfare centers in each district, county, and town.
The service will begin on the 18th at Seongan-dong Seongan Cheonggu Town Apartment, on the 23rd at Samsan-dong Hanmaeum Park, and on the 30th at Sinjeong 3-dong Ulsan Nambu Church parking lot, with detailed schedules to be announced sequentially.
An official from Ulsan City stated, “We hope that the full expansion of On-site Service Day to all districts and counties will help resolve daily inconveniences experienced by citizens,” and added, “We will strive to communicate with citizens and discover and provide services that are practically needed.”
