Nanobrick Exhibits eSkin at Design Expo 'Milano Design Week'

Nanobrick, a cutting-edge nano new material specialist company, announced on the 15th that it will participate in the world's largest design fair, Milan Design Week, to target the large-area emotional exterior material market of 'E-Skin'. The fair will be held in Milan, Italy, from today until the 21st.

This exhibition was made possible by the invitation of Materially, a global industrial material specialized development institution located in Italy. Materially holds exhibitions related to materials and conducts various lectures as part of the Milan Design Week event. Participants are expected to explore innovative ideas and business opportunities regarding new material technologies and design trends.

E-Skin is an electronic paper developed with Nanobrick's proprietary patented technology. It is an emotional exterior material that maximizes emotion through specific color and pattern changes desired by customers and is used in various electronic products, electric vehicles, furniture, wallpaper, and more.

Additionally, it has the advantage of almost no power consumption and operates wirelessly without a separate power connection, making it applicable to information delivery displays such as Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL). Last year, the company succeeded in mass production of large areas through the development of Roll to Roll film processes, securing price competitiveness.

Overseas market attention to E-Skin's unique technology is increasing. Following the CES Innovation Award at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) last year, Nanobrick won the Best Component Award at the China Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE 2024) last month with E-Skin. Through this Milan Design Week exhibition, the company plans to accelerate its entry into the emotional exterior material market beyond home appliances and electronic products, including interiors and furniture.

A Nanobrick official stated, “We are currently in close discussions for joint development and business partnerships with companies in various industries such as functional films, displays, home appliances, and electric vehicles,” adding, “We will strive to achieve visible results as soon as possible based on our excellent technology and price competitiveness.”
