Convergence thinking company Creverse announced on the 15th that it is achieving tangible results as an edutech company in collaboration with Microsoft Korea (MS). The two companies signed a strategic business agreement last September for AI platform technology cooperation and global joint marketing.
Creverse's new products scheduled for release in the second half of this year are 'WONDEREAD' and the 'i-Learning English Automated Evaluation Engine.' WONDEREAD is a digital English picture book app based on generative AI technology that stimulates the imagination of young children and elementary students through reading.
The i-Learning English Automated Evaluation Engine provides assignment evaluation and personalized feedback, significantly reducing the time Creverse previously took?over three days?to grade a single student's online assignment to real-time feedback. This will not only improve student satisfaction but also reduce related Creverse costs to about 85%. Internal stakeholders at Microsoft Korea have expressed very positive views regarding Creverse's upcoming new products.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the non-face-to-face lifestyle has been applied to education, and many education companies are enhancing their competitiveness by utilizing new technologies. Creverse is developing an educational platform based on Microsoft Korea's Azure OpenAI Service to widen the technological gap with other companies. Additionally, it plans to further advance as an edutech company based on the strong branding it has built through its academy business.
Kim Gwan, Head of Creverse AI & Metaverse Business Division, stated, “Creverse plans to continue detailed discussions and technical testing with Microsoft Korea until WONDEREAD and the i-Learning English Automated Evaluation Engine are released as finished products to enhance the completeness of the products.”
