The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 14th that it is recruiting performing agencies to participate in the ‘Export Voucher Excellent Performing Agency Competition’ until the 25th.

The Export Voucher Project is a support program for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to enter overseas markets, where vouchers composed of government subsidies and company contributions are issued to SMEs, and the companies that receive the vouchers can freely select and utilize overseas marketing services necessary for export from the voucher performing agencies.

This Export Voucher Excellent Performing Agency Competition was prepared to promote voluntary efforts to improve service quality among export voucher project performing agencies and to discover and select excellent performing agencies that contributed to creating export performance for supported companies.

The recruitment fields correspond to the services provided by the Export Voucher Project, including a total of nine fields: ▲consulting ▲interpretation and translation ▲capacity-building education ▲patents and intellectual property rights ▲public relations ▲exhibitions, events, and overseas sales support ▲design ▲overseas standard certification ▲international transportation. Applicants must choose one of these fields.

The Small and Medium Business Corporation plans to select one performing agency per service field, totaling nine agencies. Selected agencies will receive benefits such as a commendation from the Minister of SMEs and Startups, online promotional support, preferential participation in the ‘2024 Export Voucher Matching Fair’ event, and exemption from the service performance inspection for the current business year.

Applicants must be performing agencies registered in the Export Voucher Project as of the application deadline and have at least three service performance records for companies participating in the ‘2023 Ministry of SMEs and Startups Export Voucher Project’.

The selection process consists of two stages: the first is document screening, followed by expert evaluation in the second stage. Detailed criteria include comprehensively considering export performance of voucher-supported companies, service expertise, efforts to improve service quality, and successful support cases in accordance with the purpose of selecting excellent export voucher performing agencies.

An Jeong-gon, Director of Global Growth at the Small and Medium Business Corporation, said, “Export voucher performing agencies play an important role as export partners in strengthening the export capabilities of participating SMEs and pioneering overseas markets. We will continue to actively discover agencies with excellent capabilities and work together with them to provide high-quality services to actively support the creation of visible export performance for supported companies.”
