S-OIL Donates 30 Million KRW to Ulsan Red Cross Bread Sharing Center Volunteer Service

S-OIL donated 30 million KRW to the ‘Bread Sharing’ project for underprivileged neighbors in the Ulsan area.


On the 12th, S-OIL announced on the 13th that it delivered the facility support fund for the Ulsan Red Cross Bread Sharing Center to the Ulsan Metropolitan City branch of the Korean Red Cross, attended by Chae Jong-sung, chairman of the Ulsan branch of the Korean Red Cross, and Park Sung-hoon, head of S-OIL’s division.


This donation ceremony was organized to spread a culture of sharing and promote community volunteer activities supporting vulnerable groups through bread sharing volunteer work.

S-OIL Donates 30 Million KRW to Ulsan Red Cross Bread Sharing Center Volunteer Service S-OIL Division Head Park Seong-hoon is delivering a donation for the Bread Sharing Center project to Chaejongseong, Chairman of the Ulsan Branch of the Korean Red Cross.

The funds donated by S-OIL will be used to purchase a dough fermenter for making various and delicious breads and to buy baking ingredients.


Along with the donation ceremony, S-OIL employees participated in baking volunteer activities, making bread together with volunteers and personally delivering it to vulnerable groups and welfare facilities in the local community.


Park Sung-hoon, head of S-OIL’s division, said, “S-OIL is carrying out various social contribution activities for marginalized neighbors in the region,” adding, “We hope this donation will serve as a catalyst for Ulsan citizens to actively participate in volunteer activities and spread a warm culture of helping neighbors in need.”


Chae Jong-sung, chairman of the Ulsan Red Cross, expressed gratitude to S-OIL for donating to the Bread Sharing Center to expand the culture of community volunteering, saying, “We will strive to enable Ulsan citizens to participate in volunteer activities through the Bread Sharing Center.”


The Ulsan Red Cross Bread Sharing Center operates about 310 times annually, and last year, over 2,500 people participated, delivering bread to more than 42,000 underprivileged neighbors.


S-OIL supports public interest projects such as the Sunshine Sharing Campaign, support for vulnerable groups, environmental protection activities, scholarship support, and projects that expand the cultural and artistic base in the Ulsan area to help neighbors in need.
