Global Electric Vehicle and Charger Experts Gather in Ansan Test site at Ansan branch of Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute checking interoperability between electric vehicles and chargers.

According to KERI, about 100 domestic and international experts from global organizations such as ISO, CharIN, and OCA will participate in this event.

President Namkyun Kim stated, “This is a rare occasion where global leaders gather in one place to establish international standards for electric vehicle charging,” adding, “Countless communication protocols are used between electric vehicles and chargers, and as various new technologies are added in the future, the complexity will increase. We will strive to ensure that KERI’s Ansan branch takes a central role in securing international standards.”
