The Incheon Office of Education will operate a basic hydrogen energy exploration curriculum, and Incheon City will conduct promotional activities targeting the local community to raise awareness about the safety and eco-friendliness of hydrogen energy.

Doosan Fuel Cell will provide education on the overall hydrogen energy industry and exploration of career paths and aptitudes related to energy, while Korea Western Power Seoincheon Power Plant Headquarters will support site visits to energy generation facilities and introduce related job roles.

This educational program is designed for high school students and is conducted by Incheon City in collaboration with the Incheon Office of Education and nearby schools to nurture hydrogen talent.

In November of last year, Doosan Fuel Cell held a special lecture called the "Hydrogen Energy Career Exploration Class" as part of the basic hydrogen energy exploration curriculum, and through this agreement, it plans to regularize this special lecture annually. Additionally, it will support students' exploration of STEM career paths and energy-related occupations using data-based career assessment tools.

Furthermore, Doosan Fuel Cell plans to conduct exploration programs twice a year, in the first and second halves, by establishing a cooperative system with local universities. University and graduate students interested in the hydrogen field will be invited to Doosan Fuel Cell’s Iksan Plant to showcase the entire hydrogen industry, introduce hydrogen fuel cell products, provide job introductions and factory line tours, and facilitate conversations with senior professionals.

A Doosan Fuel Cell official said, "We focus our social contribution activities on human growth, building cooperative systems with local communities, and reflecting the value of our business, making the Hydrogen Energy Career Exploration Class an optimal social contribution activity," adding, "We will provide various educational opportunities to help students’ interest in hydrogen energy lead to career choices and actively support them in establishing themselves as hydrogen talent."
