Follow-up Care Based on Depression and Stress Counseling Results
Seocho-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) announced on the 12th that the satisfaction rate of the ‘Visiting Public Health Center Health Experience Hall,’ which visits residents' homes to check their health status and provide counseling services, has reached 95.7%, showing very high resident satisfaction.
The ‘Visiting Public Health Center Health Experience Hall’ is a project that informs residents about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and helps them practice healthy living in their daily lives. It visits residents' homes in apartment and general residential areas to provide health status measurements and counseling services such as bone density tests, blood pressure and blood sugar measurements, and body composition analysis.
Seocho-gu will operate the ‘2024 Visiting Public Health Center Health Experience Hall’ from the 16th of this month to October 22. It will be held at a total of 10 living spaces, with Yangjae 1-dong Yangjae Public Parking Lot and Seocho 3-dong Seocho Central I-Park Apartment newly selected as target locations to increase resident accessibility.
The Health Experience Hall operates more than 20 practical booths, ranging from bone density tests, blood pressure and blood sugar measurements, and body composition tests to customized health counseling such as depression and stress counseling and smoking cessation clinics. Through this, it plans to provide accurate health information to help residents take an interest in their health and practice healthy habits on their own.
Additionally, the ‘Seocho i-Zone’ is set up to provide experiential health education for children, including proper tooth brushing education, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) experience, physical activities at the Healthy Weight Living Hall, and photo zone photography.
Seocho-gu also conducts follow-up management based on the counseling results from the Health Experience Hall. Residents found to have health risk factors through depression and stress counseling will be linked with public health centers or medical institutions for continuous management.
Any Seocho resident can receive free examinations and counseling. Operating hours are from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. For further inquiries, please contact the Health Management Division.
