Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is operating live commerce education to help small business owners develop online sales channels.

Live commerce is a service where sellers communicate with consumers in real time online while selling products, gaining great popularity among the younger generation who are accustomed to entertaining video content and convenient mobile shopping.

Accordingly, the district will conduct live commerce education for small business owners a total of six times from the 26th of this month to the 17th of next month. The program combines theoretical classes and broadcasting practice, allowing participants to learn for free from professional instructors about ▲ live commerce planning ▲ product sales strategy development ▲ broadcasting know-how.

In particular, a program is prepared where students can conduct real-time sales broadcasts themselves, helping them smoothly enter the online market after completing the education.

Applications are accepted through the Gwangjin-gu Office website until the 19th. A total of 30 people will be recruited, and any small business owner with a business location in Gwangjin-gu can participate.

Meanwhile, Gwangjin-gu plans to actively support small business owners’ entry into the online market by opening online marketing lectures using short-form content in May.
