Dong-A University Online Promotion Supporters, 'Damate' Appointment and Completion Ceremony Held

Dong-A University (President Lee Hae-woo) held the appointment ceremony for the 13th online promotion supporters ‘DA: MATE’ and the completion ceremony for the 12th group.

The event held on the 9th at Kyungdong Hall, Seunghak Campus of Dong-A University was attended by Park Hyun-tae, Director of the Office of External and International Affairs, Kim Seong-mok, Manager of External Cooperation, online promotion supporter students, and officials from the External Cooperation Department.

At this event, held as part of Dong-A University’s University Innovation Support Project, 12 students who completed the activities of the 12th online promotion supporters (Kim Kyung-seo, Kim Yeon-ha, Kim Jun-seo, Kim Chae-hyun, Park Chae-eun, Son Min-hee, Shin Ye-won, Woo Ye-ji, Lee Ji-min, Lim Ji-soo, Jo Hee-jung, Ha Seo-hyun) received certificates of completion.

Among them, Kim Yeon-ha (4th year, Department of Tourism Management) received the ‘Best Supporter Award,’ while Ha Seo-hyun (2nd year, Department of Global Business) and Jo Hee-jung (2nd year, Department of Business Administration) received the ‘Excellence Supporter Award.’ The ‘Best Teamwork Award’ went to the YouTube team (Kim Kyung-seo, Kim Yeon-ha, Jo Hee-jung).

Kim Yeon-ha said, “When we had the orientation for the 12th DA: MATE, my goal was to receive the ‘Best Supporter Award,’ and I am really happy that this goal was actually achieved. I want to express my gratitude to the staff of the External Cooperation Department and my fellow 12th members because it was thanks to them that I was able to receive this award.”

The 13th online promotion supporters who received appointment letters are a total of 13 students: Kwak Seo-young (1st year, Department of Media Communication), Kim Ga-young (1st year, Department of Chinese Studies), Kim Seo-jin (2nd year, Department of International Trade), Kim Eun-seo (4th year, Department of Finance), Nam Hyun-joo (3rd year, Department of Molecular Genetics), Noh Yoo-jin (2nd year, Department of Media Communication), Park Sang-ha (1st year, Department of Business Administration), Shin Ji-hyun (2nd year, Department of Industrial Design), Yoo Jung-eun (1st year, Department of Finance), Lee Eun-sol (2nd year, Department of Business Administration), Jang So-young (1st year, Department of Fine Arts), Jo Min-ji (3rd year, Department of Media Communication), and Ha Chae-yeon (3rd year, Department of AI).

Nam Hyun-joo said, “I usually have a lot of interest in SNS and promotion, so I applied. I feel good to be appointed as an online promotion supporter representing Dong-A University, and it has given me the motivation to work even harder.” Shin Ji-hyun (2nd year, Department of Industrial Design) said, “I am happy to have the opportunity to work as an online promotion supporter. I will work hard to make DA: MATE a valuable experience during my university life.”

Since the first group was formed in 2017, Dong-A University’s online promotion supporters ‘DA: MATE’ have been responsible for producing and managing content on the university’s official YouTube, Instagram, Naver blog, Facebook, and other SNS channels.

Director Park Hyun-tae said at the event, “DA: MATE plays an important role in energizing students’ school life and attracting prospective students’ interest in Dong-A University. I urge you to pour your abilities and passion into activities that you will look back on as ‘the best thing I did during my university life.’”
