'Botanic Lab' Operates on 7th Floor of Mokdong Branch
Service from Treatment to Aftercare
Hyundai Department Store announced on the 11th that it will operate a companion plant care service called 'BOTANIC LAB' on the 7th floor of the Mokdong branch's Botanic House.
BOTANIC LAB is a service where floral experts diagnose the growth condition of companion plants and provide guidance from treatment to aftercare. The company explained the launch of this service by stating, "Home gardening (indoor plant cultivation) and plant interior design (plant + interior) are emerging as new trends for decorating homes with plants." Hyundai Department Store plans to operate the BOTANIC LAB service until June 27.
To use the service, customers need to make a reservation through the Hyundai Department Store app and bring their potted plants. Floral experts will check the condition of the plants and provide treatments such as medication prescriptions and repotting according to the situation. The service is available from Monday to Thursday, and consultations are free of charge.
To commemorate the service opening, Hyundai Department Store will hold 'My Little Garden' at the Mokdong branch, where customers can plant seeds and observe their growth firsthand. Tomato and basil seeds will be planted in the outdoor garden on the 7th floor Sky Garden, allowing visitors to watch the growing process. After the event, participants can repot the seeds and take them home. The event will run from next month 4th to June 2.
A Hyundai Department Store representative said, "As the companion plant market is growing, we expect the number of customers using the BOTANIC LAB service to increase," adding, "We plan to continue providing various services to offer 'happy experiences' to customers visiting the department store."
