Michelin Guide, Blue Ribbon Survey, and Over 30 Others
"Including Napkins and Props to Enhance On-Site Atmosphere"
Samsung Welstory announced on the 11th that it will showcase the signature dishes of about 30 restaurants officially certified by domestic and international gourmet guides such as the Michelin Guide, Blue Ribbon, and Baeknyeon Gage at its corporate cafeterias.
The purpose is to allow Samsung Welstory's customers to easily enjoy diverse food cultures and experience differentiated services by offering popular menu items from external famous restaurants, which people usually wait in line to eat, at the corporate cafeterias.
Samsung Welstory has been consistently providing menu collaborations with well-known external restaurants and trendy hot places.
In particular, in 2023, it introduced desserts such as London Bagel, Noted, Mildo, and Super Matcha, enhancing customer satisfaction.
Samsung Welstory plans to focus on brand collaborations for meal menus following desserts this year, presenting menus linked with restaurants certified by domestic and international gourmet guides.
The total of about 30 restaurants to be sequentially introduced this year at corporate cafeterias operated by Samsung Welstory are composed of places certified by the Michelin Guide, Korea's first gourmet guide Blue Ribbon, and Baeknyeon Gage, which has been loved for over 30 years, all offering both taste and cost-effectiveness.
Through this brand collaboration, Samsung Welstory will provide dishes such as Tteok Mandu-guk from Samcheong-dong's 'Hwangsaengga Kalguksu,' selected for eight consecutive years in the Michelin Guide; Perilla Seed Kalguksu from 'Veteran,' a representative restaurant in Jeonju known nationwide; Parmesan Cheese Gnocchi from 'Osteria Sam Kim,' a high-end Italian restaurant run by owner chef Sam Kim; and Budae Jjigae from 'Oden Sikdang,' Korea's first Budae Jjigae specialty restaurant, at about 170 corporate cafeterias.
Samsung Welstory developed large-capacity exclusive products optimized for group catering with recipes that ensure the authentic taste of famous restaurant menus even in corporate cafeterias where food must be prepared quickly and in large quantities.
Additionally, it provides informational materials containing brand logos and stories and arranges realistic props such as tableware and napkins used in restaurants so that customers can feel as if they are actually visiting the famous restaurants.
A Samsung Welstory official said, "Many customers eagerly look forward to the days when collaboration menus are offered, as they can enjoy famous restaurants at the corporate cafeteria without waiting in line," adding, "We will continue to introduce new menus from famous dining brands every week throughout the year and strive to provide a more differentiated food and beverage service unique to Samsung Welstory."
