Shinteca Bio, an AI-based new drug development company, announced on the 11th that it will participate in the 23rd Bio-IT World Conference & Expo held in Boston, USA, from the 15th to the 17th (local time) to promote its STB LaunchPad service.
The Bio-IT World Conference & Expo is a global conference focusing on bio and IT. Experts from various fields such as life sciences, pharmaceuticals, clinical, informatics, and precision medicine participate to share the latest technology trends and information, providing a platform for business exchange.
On the third day of the event, Shinteca Bio will participate in a presentation titled "Integration of Computing Platforms, Knowledge Graphs, and Generative AI: Science Initiatives in Drug Discovery and Development." Emilia Kruzel, Vice President of Business Development at the US branch, will speak to explain the approach and service scope of STB LaunchPad.
STB LaunchPad is a database of various stages of active substances pre-selected for over 100 target proteins. It utilizes Shinteca Bio’s AI drug platform, Deepmatcher, and cloud infrastructure to continuously carry out the candidate substance discovery process through a factory-level platform for AI drug candidate generation.
In particular, since new drug development starts from the active substance stage, it has the advantage of accelerating the development speed. The guaranteed discovery of active substances for desired targets also lowers the entry barriers for clients’ AI drug development.
The company plans to set up a promotional booth at the event to introduce STB LaunchPad and its service model to global pharmaceutical, bio, and informatics industry stakeholders, highlighting the strengths of AI drug development.
Jung Jong-sun, CEO of Shinteca Bio, emphasized, "It is time for global marketing of STB LaunchPad, which can drastically reduce the time and cost required to create new drug pipelines for target diseases by providing pre-discovered substances. We will work closely to achieve meaningful results at this conference and other global conferences throughout the first half of the year."
