Hanyang Securities analyzed on the 11th that Medipron is expected to release a BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) drama through its own content distribution platform ‘Xclusive’ and that Medipron will transform into a comprehensive platform specialist company.

Lee Joon-seok, a researcher at Hanyang Securities, stated in a report on the same day, “Medipron acquired shares of Finger Labs, Emotion Global, and Make Us on the 5th and plans to change its company name to Hyper Corporation,” adding, “Along with its existing IT distribution and bio businesses, it plans to divide into three business divisions and transform into a comprehensive platform specialist company.”

Finger Labs operates the point tech platform ‘METACLUB’ and the content distribution platform ‘Xclusive,’ while Make Us owns Dingo, which operates channels with a total of 45 million subscribers. Medipron plans to lead the content platform business, expand its existing bio business into the healthcare sector, and propose a new paradigm for the IP content business industry.

He analyzed, “Xclusive is a blockchain technology-based platform where creators upload and distribute content they produce themselves, based on blockchain and AI technology,” and “It issues a limited number of memberships for content, enabling C2C transactions and rentals.”

He also explained, “While platforms of the traditional era inevitably have high profit ratios for platform companies due to server and management costs, Xclusive significantly reduces costs based on blockchain, allowing creators to receive a larger share of the profits.”

Medipron plans to release the BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) drama ‘Begins≠Youth,’ based on the Hwayangyeonhwa universe, through Xclusive in the second quarter of this year. The expected price is 10,000 KRW per episode for a 12-episode series, with a total of 100,000 units, amounting to 12 billion KRW.

He forecasted, “Starting with ‘Begins≠Youth,’ a total of four contents and various new creations will be provided through Dingo and Op.gg,” and “Overall, Xclusive will specialize in content distribution, FAVORLET in authentication and membership, and METACLUB in payment and point accumulation, creating synergy.”
