There is a prospect that the trilateral summit between Korea, China, and Japan, held for the first time in four years, will take place around May 26-27 next month.
On the 10th, Japan's Yomiuri Shimbun reported, "The governments of Korea, Japan, and China have entered final coordination to hold the Korea-China-Japan summit in Korea in late May." The meeting is expected to be attended by President Yoon Seok-yeol, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, and Chinese Premier Li Qiang. The Korea-China-Japan summit has been suspended for about four years since it was last held in December 2019.
