The Public Value Research Institute (PSR) announced on the 9th that it has published the '2024 Korea Public Interest Corporation White Paper' in collaboration with Korea Guide Star. The white paper aims to expand the connection between donors and charitable organizations to promote a healthy donation culture.
Now in its fourth edition since 2019, this white paper highlights marginalized areas in society and charitable organizations by sector. It was especially designed to help companies engaged in social responsibility activities find suitable charitable partners.
Composed of four parts, the white paper introduces successful cases of charitable organizations in Part 1. Part 2 contains detailed information on over 80 representative domestic collaborative charitable organizations. Parts 3 and 4 include Korea Guide Star's evaluations of public interest corporations' activities and summarize major public corporation disclosure data submitted to the government.
A PSR official stated, "Official government data, major organization websites, research and news materials, and introduction articles were used as basic sources," adding, "We plan to continuously supplement and develop the Public Interest Corporation White Paper so that it becomes an opportunity to further solidify the donation culture in Korea."
