Hanul Headquarters Launches 2024 Plastic Bottle Cap Recycling and Donation Event

From the 15th to the 30th, Commemorative Gifts of Recycled Keyrings and Silicone Zipper Bags Provided

Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head: Lee Seyong) will conduct the ‘2024 Hanul Headquarters Bottle Cap Upcycling Toy Donation Event’ from the 15th to the 30th of this month.

This event was organized to enhance social value by recycling plastic bottle caps in response to the climate crisis era. Participants who wish to join can submit plastic bottle caps at the event zone made of eco-friendly materials within Hanul Energy Farm. Once the target of 4,000 caps is reached, the event will end, and toy kits using the bottle caps will be donated to child welfare facilities in Uljin-gun.

For participation, one souvenir will be provided for every 40 bottle caps submitted, available on a first-come, first-served basis per person, once only. Participants can choose between a keyring or a silicone zipper bag, both made from recycled plastic.
