Training and Support for Airfare and Accommodation Costs
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 9th that it is recruiting participants for the '2024 Pyeongtaek City Gyeonggi Youth Ladder Program: JourneyU Global Leadership' to support young people’s overseas training.
This program, launched for the first time this year, is designed to develop global leadership through overseas university training and local cultural experiences for young people in Pyeongtaek. It is supported by Pyeongtaek City and Gyeonggi Province, with the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Pyeongtaek University entrusted with private management.
Participants will receive full support for training, airfare, accommodation, and related expenses, with priority given to young people who have not had opportunities for overseas training due to financial burdens.
The application period is from the 15th to the 24th and applications can be submitted through the 'Jobaba Apply' website. Final successful candidates will be selected through document screening and interviews in May.
The training period will take place from June 24 to July 19 at Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand. The program includes English language training, local cultural experiences, and self-directed team projects.
