Chungnam Shinbo Joins Hands with Asan City and 8 Other Organizations to Establish 'Startup Park'

To support the successful promotion of the future new growth sector venture and startup ecosystem in Chungnam Province, Chungnam Shinbo, Chungnam Province, Asan City, and seven other organizations have joined hands.


On the 8th, Chungnam Shinbo signed a business agreement with Chungnam Province, Asan City, and seven other organizations to successfully promote the Chungnam Startup Park project and revitalize the venture and startup ecosystem.


The signing ceremony was attended by nine people, including Jeon Hyung-sik, Deputy Governor for Political Affairs of Chungnam Province; Park Kyung-gwi, Mayor of Asan; Kim Doo-jung, Chairman of Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation; Kang Hee-jun, Director of Chungnam Creative Economy Innovation Center; Park Jang-soon, Head of NH Nonghyup Bank Chungnam Headquarters; Heo Cheol-mu, Chairman of Chungnam Startup Incubation Association; Nam Seung-il, Chairman of Chungnam Venture Association; Yoo Sang-hoon, CEO of JB Ventures; and Sung Deok-hyung, Director of Oaklen Ventures.


According to the agreement, Chungnam Shinbo will provide support for close cooperation with these organizations, credit guarantees for startups, management guidance, and smooth funding to enable well-prepared startups.


Chairman Kim Doo-jung said, “The Startup Park project is a very important item for Chungnam Province, Asan City, and related organizations to prepare for the future and provide opportunities to those with creative ideas to revitalize the local economy.” He added, “It is a leap to establish itself as a center of creativity, innovation, and future industries, and will play a significant role in providing more opportunities to young people.”
