Our 'Chumkkun' is Coming... Ulsan City Dance Company Planned Performance

Dance Styles Gathered in One Place, Featuring Gugak Ensemble Performance

The Ulsan City Dance Company will present the planned performance "Chumkkun" at 7:30 PM on the 19th at the Small Theater of the Ulsan Culture & Arts Center.

This work is a performance where you can experience traditional dances from various lineages that preserve and continue the original forms of Korean dance all in one place. The Ulsan City Dance Company's "Chumkkun" will showcase a traditional dance stage based on their steadily honed skills.

At this performance, the only traditional Korean music accompaniment group organized within a city dance company nationwide will provide live accompaniment, adding depth to the stage.

The program will proceed in the following order: ▲ Chumkkun Kim Juhyun's Chun-aengjeon (Crown Prince Hyomyung) ▲ Chumkkun Kim Mijeong and daegeum player Park Seongtae's Daegeum Sanjo (Won Janghyeon style) ▲ Chumkkun Oh Sumi's Taepyeongmu (Kang Seonyeong style) ▲ Chumkkun Lee Sieun's Seungmu (Lee Maebang style) ▲ Chumkkun Byeon Changil's Hallyangmu (Jo Heungdong style) ▲ Chumkkun Choi Mijeong's Sibichejanggu Dance (Han Hyekyung style) ▲ Chumkkun Kim Sujin's Salpuri Dance (Lee Maebang style) ▲ Chumkkun Nam Yunju's Taepyeongmu (Han Youngsuk style) ▲ Chumkkun Song Gayoung's Dalgubeol Ipchum (Choi Heeseon style).

Instructor Ha Heewon will serve as the presenter to help general audiences easily understand Korean dance and feel the essence of traditional dance.
