The Ministry and KOTRA are conducting the Dexters training program with the goal of nurturing 10,000 digital trade personnel by 2027. A total of nine DEXTER centers have been established nationwide, allowing anyone to participate in Dexters without any separate qualification requirements.

Starting with two pilot operations in 2022, the program has been held eight times cumulatively, with the number of participants exceeding 1,500. From February 6 to April 5, the 1st Dexters program saw 476 participants from 100 universities across the country.

Jeon Chun-woo, Vice President of KOTRA and Head of the Management Support Division, said, "Digital trade sees higher participation from startups and small business owners compared to traditional trade," adding, "KOTRA will generously support Dexters participants so that they can thrive as digital trade experts on the global stage."
