Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Accelerates Preparations to Welcome Visitors
Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 8th that it will hold the 2nd Gwangsan MusicON Festival at Hwangryong Chinsu Park for two days on the 4th and 5th of next month.
The musician live performances at the Gwangsan MusicON Festival will be expanded from last year and held over two days, featuring 12 top domestic musician teams. The standing seats have also increased from 400 last year to 1,000 this year, aiming to establish the identity of the music festival and expand its content.
As befitting a festival held in a park, a ‘Music Picnic Zone’ will be operated where Indian tents can be used free of charge. In the ‘Mulmeong Bitmeong Zone,’ shade tents (tarps) will be provided. In the ‘Personal Tent Zone,’ anyone can set up a picnic space with their own tent, attracting great anticipation from many ‘picnic enthusiasts.’
Considering that the event takes place during the Children's Day holiday, a special event featuring the Air Force’s special flight team, the ‘Black Eagles,’ airshow has been scheduled. The Black Eagles airshow will be held on May 5th from 3:40 PM for about 15 minutes.
Park Byung-gyu, head of Gwangsan-gu Office, said, “I would like to invite all citizens to the 2nd Gwangsan MusicON Festival, where music, water, light, and green grass come together to create a springtime feast.”
