Talent Donation at Cheonan Garam Elementary School
Visiting Milk Class and Cheese Making Experience Conducted
Song Miryeong, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, took on the role of a one-day instructor on the 8th for the Neulbom School talent donation initiative promoted at the whole-government level.
Neulbom School is a comprehensive educational program that provides various educational resources from schools and local communities outside of regular classes to support student growth and development. This one-day instructor participation was arranged to support the early establishment of Neulbom School by having a cabinet member directly teach tasks under their ministry's jurisdiction.
Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Minister Song Mi-ryeong visited Garam Elementary School in Cheonan on the 8th to conduct a cheese-making experience for first-grade students and took commemorative photos.
On that day, Minister Song visited Garam Elementary School in Cheonan and gave a lecture to first-grade students about dairy farming and the milk production process. Along with a professional instructor from a rural education farm certified by the Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education, she conducted a cheese-making experience, allowing children to learn about the importance and public value of agriculture and rural areas.
Before the talent donation, Minister Song held a meeting with education office and school officials, stating, "By listening to the difficulties on the ground, we will strive to dramatically improve access to education and care in rural areas in connection with Neulbom School and make it easier for students to experience rural learning." She added, "We will closely cooperate with the Ministry of Education, local education offices, and local governments to support the successful establishment of Neulbom School."
