‘Heehee Nakkak Miryang City Tour’ … Operated by Miryang Culture and Tourism Foundation

Three Zones: Dongbusan Mountain Area, Downtown Area, and Samrangjin Area

The Gyeongnam Miryang Culture and Tourism Foundation announced on the 8th that it will operate the ‘First Half Year Heehee Nackrak Miryang City Tour’ with cultural tourism interpreters from the 5th of this month until the 30th of next month.


The Heehee Nackrak City Tour, meaning ‘happily laughing and knocking on various places in Miryang,’ is divided into three zones and operated every week: the Dongbu Mountain Area on Fridays, the Downtown Area on Saturdays, and the Samrangjin Area on Sundays.

The Dongbu Mountain Area is a healing course enjoying the beautiful nature of Miryang, including Eoreumgol Cable Car, Dream Garden (Bonsai Botanical Garden), Miryang Hancheon Theme Park, Eoreumgol Phonograph Sound Museum, and Cheonhwangsan Sky Garden.


The Downtown Area course offers experiences at the planetarium of Miryang Arirang Space Observatory, visits to Yeongnamnu, a national treasure and one of Korea’s three great pavilions, and performances such as ‘Saetoga Eulgutnori,’ ‘Yangban Dance,’ ‘Arirang Dongdong Performance,’ and ‘Miryang Seonbi Pungnyu Performance’ at Miryang Hyanggyo, utilizing intangible cultural heritage and excavated cultural assets of Miryang.


The Samrangjin Area allows visitors to see Manosa Temple, famous for its ringing stone, one of Miryang’s three great mysteries, and the Twin Tunnel illuminated by hundreds of millions of colorful lights.


The usage fees are 17,000 KRW for the Dongbu Mountain Area, 5,000 KRW for the Downtown Area, and 10,000 KRW for the Samrangjin Area, with free admission for infants under 36 months.


CEO Lee Chi-woo said, “Last year, the Year of Visiting Miryang, many people participated in the city tour and satisfaction was high. We will prepare well so that this year’s tour can also be a happy trip where visitors can fully experience the charm of Miryang.”
