Recruiting 85 Companies Within 7 Years of Startup

IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 8th that its startup incubation platform 'IBK Changgong' will recruit incubation companies for the second half of 2024.

The recruitment target is companies within 7 years of establishment, with no industry restrictions. A total of about 85 companies will be finally selected through document evaluation, on-site inspection, and face-to-face evaluation based on innovation, marketability, and business feasibility. In particular, this recruitment will also include incubation companies for the Gwangju Center, scheduled to open in August, to revitalize the local startup ecosystem.


Selected companies will receive various programs for business advancement and investment attraction, including financial support from IBK Financial Group, one-on-one dedicated mentoring, IR, demo days, open innovation with IBK Industrial Bank’s small and medium-sized enterprise and mid-sized enterprise clients, and office space.


The application period is from today until 2 p.m. on May 3, and the final selected companies will be announced in June. Detailed recruitment schedules by center and application submissions are available on the IBK Changgong website.


An IBK Industrial Bank official said, “The year 2024 is a meaningful year for IBK Changgong as it expands its scope domestically and internationally,” adding, “We look forward to many innovative ventures and startups leading the startup ecosystem together with IBK Changgong.”
