Daegu Urban Corporation Purchases 100 Multi-Family and Multi-Unit Houses... Rents to Low-Income Families at Half Price

Daegu Urban Development Corporation is currently accepting purchases of existing houses such as multi-family and multiplex houses to supply as rental housing for low-income and housing-vulnerable groups in the region to stabilize their housing.

The 'Existing Housing Purchase Rental Project' is a housing welfare project that purchases houses with support from the government and the Housing and Urban Fund, and supplies them to low-income and housing-vulnerable groups at prices below 50% of the market rent.

This year, 100 units of general-type houses will be purchased, and the purchase announcement for the first half of the year will be accepted until June 14.

The purchase targets are multi-family and multiplex houses with an exclusive area of 26 to 85㎡ within Daegu city. After comprehensively reviewing location conditions and housing quality, if the seller agrees to the purchase conditions presented by Daegu Urban Development Corporation, including the appraised value, a sales contract will be concluded.

Jung Myung-seop, president of Daegu Urban Development Corporation, said, “Our corporation has purchased and supplied more than 2,700 houses so far, and we are striving to stabilize housing and reduce housing cost burdens for housing-vulnerable groups without homes.” He added, “Through this announcement, we hope for active participation from housing owners so that we can purchase quality houses and supply them at affordable prices.”
