Korea Faces UAE, China, and Japan in Group Stage

CGV announced on the 8th that it will broadcast the 2024 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U23 Asian Cup live. The tournament will be held in Qatar from the 15th of this month to the 3rd of next month, and it also serves as the qualifying round for the men's football event at the Paris Olympics. There are 3.5 spots available for the final tournament. The South Korean national team aims to qualify for the Olympics finals for the 10th consecutive time in history. In Group B, they will face the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the 17th, China on the 19th, and Japan on the 22nd in order.

CGV will broadcast all group stage matches live and will continue coverage if the team advances to the knockout stage. Ticket reservations will begin on the 9th. They plan to create a wave of support at theaters nationwide, including Yongsan I'Park Mall. CGV has been broadcasting World Cup matches live since the 2006 Germany tournament.
