Selected for Youth Cafe Operation Field... Customized Service Support to Strengthen Employment and Startup Capabilities
On the 8th, Seo-gu District Office in Daejeon announced that it has been selected for the new public contest project, the ‘2024 Youth Growth Project,’ organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The Youth Growth Project is a public contest project by the Ministry of Employment and Labor that provides customized programs to prevent unemployed youth from giving up job searching and becoming NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), and to support their daily life recovery.
The district was selected in the field of youth cafe operation and plans to provide tailored services to strengthen employment and entrepreneurship capabilities through ‘Cheongchun Jeonggeo-jang,’ a youth activity space, by supporting career redesign, forming local networks, and linking youth policies.
Seo Cheol-mo, the district head, said, “We will spare no effort to raise the job-seeking motivation of young people in our region who are struggling with job searching and to create an environment where youth can fully demonstrate their abilities.”
