'Selling Master' Kim Chang, Hyundai Motor Department Head, Achieves Cumulative Sales of 5,000 Units

Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 8th that Kim Chang, Sales Manager at Asan Tangjeong Branch, has achieved cumulative sales of 5,000 units, earning the highest honor of 'Sales Master.'

Since joining the company in 1989, Manager Kim has sold approximately 140 units annually over about 35 years, reaching a cumulative total of 5,000 units in March this year. The Sales Master is the highest rank in Hyundai Motor's sales reward system.

Hyundai Motor operates an honorary sales award system to encourage frontline sales employees and boost their pride. Achieving 2,000 cumulative sales grants the title of Sales Artisan, 3,000 units Sales Expert, 4,000 units Sales Virtuoso, and upon reaching 5,000 units, the title of Sales Master along with a prize is awarded.

Since Hyundai Motor's founding 57 years ago, only 18 sales employees have been named Sales Masters. Manager Kim is the 19th to receive this honor.

Before becoming a Sales Master, Manager Kim was the branch sales champion six consecutive times from 2008 to 2013 and the regional sales champion five consecutive times from 2014 to 2018. He was also selected for the 'Top Class' for selling over 120 units annually for 16 consecutive years from 2008 to last year, steadily building an outstanding career over 35 years.

Manager Kim said, "Over 35 years of sales activity, I believe the most important thing is 'customer trust,' and I am honored that my efforts have been recognized. My goal is to keep pace with the changing market by focusing on eco-friendly vehicle sales and reach 6,000 units."

A Hyundai Motor official stated, "Car Masters play a crucial role on the front lines by meeting customers, enhancing Hyundai Motor's image, and driving sales performance. We will continue to operate various reward systems that motivate sales staff and elevate their honor."
