Achieved in 4 Months Since Launch... Popular in Asia, Europe, and Africa
The cumulative transaction volume of 'Trolligo,' a digital business-to-business (B2B) platform launched by the trading company STX, has surpassed 36 million USD (approximately 48.2 billion KRW).
On the 8th, STX announced that Trolligo achieved this milestone just four months after its launch at the end of November last year. They explained that this result reflects the market's demand for digital trade transactions.
By product category, the mobility sector accounted for the largest share at 41%. This was followed by non-ferrous metals (27%), steel (17%), oil and gas (9%), machinery (5%), and agricultural products (2%).
As of the end of last month, the user distribution by region was broadly spread with Asia (36%), Europe (23%), Africa (23%), the Americas (15%), and Oceania (3%). In particular, they emphasized that users increased in resource-rich African countries with large populations, such as Nigeria, driven by expectations for overseas transactions through the digital platform.
An STX representative stated, "Trolligo will serve as an important stepping stone to activate digital trade transactions and become a market leader. We will strengthen our position as a global B2B digital platform and grow into a unique supply chain platform company by continuously attracting overseas corporate members, enhancing services, and expanding transaction categories."
