Integrity Practice Resolution Meeting Held
The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 8th that it held a ‘Integrity Practice Resolution Meeting’ at its headquarters in Jinju, Gyeongnam, to foster a company-wide consensus on fair and transparent management and to spread a culture of integrity within the organization.
On this day, the Integrity Practice Resolution Meeting was attended by about 80 people, including Chairman Kang Seok-jin, executives, and managerial staff, and proceeded with the declaration of integrity and ethical management and a pledge to practice for the creation of an integrity culture.
This year, the Small and Medium Business Corporation has designated this year as the first year for improving integrity, correcting unfair and unreasonable elements within the organization, and preparing measures to improve internal and external integrity of the institution. In February, it established a dedicated department for promoting integrity and ethics, and based on an in-depth internal diagnosis, it formulated a ‘Comprehensive Integrity Improvement Plan’ focusing on five major areas including audit, internal control, and personnel management.
Additionally, the Corporation is participating in the ‘Integrity Consulting’ program, which is organized by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and provides customized solutions to improve integrity through an institutional anti-corruption capability diagnosis, focusing on enhancing the institution’s overall integrity capabilities.
Kang Seok-jin, Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, said, “Improving integrity is a mission that our institution must accomplish this year,” and added, “Based on the consensus and practice of all employees regarding fair and transparent management, we will become a more trusted and integrity-driven institution for the public.”
