Sergey Lavrov, Russia's Foreign Minister, is scheduled to make an official visit to China on the 8th and 9th, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced on the 7th (local time).
The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Minister Lavrov will hold talks in China with Wang Yi, Director of the International Department of the Communist Party of China and Foreign Minister.
The two sides are expected to discuss joint work on multilateral platforms such as the United Nations, BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Group of Twenty (G20), and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), as well as bilateral cooperation and their roles on the international stage.
They also plan to exchange views on various issues, including the situation in Ukraine and the Asia-Pacific region.
