"President Yoon voted in Myongji, a place famous for green onions"
Jo Guk, leader of the Jo Guk Innovation Party, said on the 7th, "I voted with a green onion in my heart," referring to whether he voted at a location other than the previously announced early voting site.
On the same day, through social media (SNS), Jo stated, "It seems that only people from Busan know this well, so I will clarify," adding, "Myeongji in Busan has been famous for green onion cultivation long before I was born. President Yoon probably chose Myeongji without knowing this, but I voted with a green onion in my heart. 'Green Onion Revolution!'"
Earlier, Jo had planned to vote in Choryang 2-dong, Dong-gu, Busan on the second day of early voting, but after President Yoon voted in Myeongji 1-dong, Busan on the first day of early voting on the 5th, Jo changed his schedule and voted early in Myeongji 1-dong.
In another post, Jo also revealed his determination to participate in politics by forming a new party. He said, "When I decided to create a new party and enter politics, I was determined to risk my life without exaggeration."
He also stated, "To achieve the goals of the Jo Guk Innovation Party, we need more votes. We need more seats," adding, "I will fight from the very front to the very end. I will fly straight toward the target without hesitation."
