Continuing Promotional Activities to Prevent Traffic Accidents Caused by Drunk Driving

Jeonnam Shinan Police Station (Chief Lee Eulsin) announced on the 5th that on the 4th and 5th, they conducted a campaign with the Imja-myeon Volunteer Crime Prevention Unit at the Shinan Imja-myeon Tulip Festival site to raise awareness about the seriousness of traffic accidents and fatalities caused by drunk driving.

The Traffic Management Division of Shinan Police Station is doing its best to ensure that no traffic accidents involving residents and tourists occur around festival venues such as the Seondo Daffodil Festival and the Shinan-gun Sports for All Competition within Shinan-gun.


In addition, they are continuously conducting promotional activities to prevent traffic accidents caused by drunk driving in the region, such as at the Jaeun-myeon Piano Festival, using banners and placards for traffic safety publicity.


Lee Eulsin, Chief of Shinan Police Station, said, “Through this campaign, we will ensure that not only traffic accidents but also safety accidents do not occur around local festival venues held in Shinan-gun in the future.”
