3.74%p Higher Than the 21st Term
The National Election Commission announced that the cumulative voter turnout rate as of 9 a.m. on the second day of early voting for the 22nd general election was 17.78%.

Among the total 44,280,011 eligible voters, 7,875,045 had cast their votes in the early voting that began at 6 a.m. the previous day. This is 3.74 percentage points higher than the early voting turnout rate at the same time during the 21st general election in 2020, which was 14.04%.
The region with the highest turnout so far is Jeonnam (26.51%), followed by Jeonbuk (23.94%), Gwangju (22.40%), and Gangwon (19.81%).
The lowest turnout was recorded in Daegu at 13.91%, followed by Gyeonggi (16.24%), Busan (16.70%), and Incheon (16.71%). Seoul's turnout rate was 18.02%.
Early voting will continue until 6 p.m. today, and voters must bring their ID and visit an early voting station.
