On the morning of the 5th, Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, presented a plaque of appreciation to the ‘Doseo Munhwa Jaedan Ssiyat’ for their efforts in creating ‘Sairo,’ a creative and communication space for the twin generation.
The district completed a 10-month remodeling project on February and established ‘Sairo,’ an exclusive space for the twin generation (youth aged 12 to 16), on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Seonyu Library. This space allows children to freely expand their imagination and grow.
Notably, ‘Sairo’ is significant as it was created with a 1 billion KRW fund invested by ‘Doseo Munhwa Jaedan Ssiyat,’ making it the sixth such space nationwide and the first in Seoul.
Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, “‘Sairo’ has become popular among students just two months after its ambitious opening, with a steady flow of visitors. We hope the twin generation will grow into future leaders based on the valuable experiences they gain at ‘Sairo.’”
